Anna Maria Athletics Express Admissions Day
Saturday, February 7th
The Anna Maria Offices of Admission and Financial Aid and the Athletic Department are hosting a special one-day program that will allow interested student-athletes to fast-track their way through the admission and financial aid process. On February 7th interested students will be able to apply for admission, receive an admission decision, learn the amount of merit scholarship money they will be eligible for and begin the financial aid process by having the opportunity to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Students should bring with them a copy of their high school transcript (an unofficial copy will be acceptable but an official copy must be submitted within two weeks following this event), a letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor, and a 250-500 word essay or personal statement on the topic of their choice. Time will be provided to write the essay if one is not completed prior to the day. The application fee will be waived.
Financial Aid representatives will be on hand to provide assistance for those who want to complete their FAFSA. A PIN number is required for all who want to complete the FAFSA. Students should apply for their PIN number in advance of the day by going to www.pin.ed.gov.
