Santino/Concepcion Earn All-American Status

PAXTON, Mass. – Seniors Santino Simone (Worcester, Mass.) and Domenique Concepcion (Middlebury, Conn.) have been named to the 2012 USA Football News Regional D-III Pre-Season All-American Honorable Mention Team.

The honorees are chosen by coaches, sports information directors, certified players' agents, members of the Football Writers of America, Metropolitan New York Football Writers Association, New England Football Writers Association, Philadelphia College Football Writers Association and the staff of USA Football News.

Simone threw for 1972 yards and 21 touchdowns last season. The senior also ran for 814 yards and scored 11 TD's on the ground, leading the AMCATS to the programs first win.  Santino was named to the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) Second Team, Worcester Area Football Association (WAFA) Second Team and AMCAT Offensive MVP.

Concepcion finished the 2011 campaign as Simone's number one receiver catching 59 passes for 782 yards. The senior scored 8 touchdowns while averaging 19.6 yards on kick returns. Dom was named to the ECFC First Team and WAFA First Team.
