Steven Croce enters his first season as the Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks coach after serving as the head football coach of Coginchaug Regional High School in Durham, Conn. for a year and a half.
Prior to that Coach Croce has enjoyed 30 years of coaching football as an Offensive Coordinator including stops at Head Coach Dan Mulrooneys’ alma Mater Holy Cross High School in Waterbury, Conn. (1989-2007), Pomperaug Regional High School in Southbury, Conn. (2008-2011), Post University in Waterbury, Conn. (2012-2013), and Cheshire High School (2014).
Coach Croce has also been full time Firefighter for the City of Waterbury, Conn. for the past 25 years.
Croce lives in Cheshire, Conn. with his wife of 25 years Kelly. They have raised 5 children together , son Michael who was a football player at Bryant University in Smithtown RI, son Kellen Croce who plays both football and baseball for the University of New Haven, Daughter Alexandra who will be a senior at the University of Tennessee, son Steven Croce II who plays football for Salve Regina in Newport RI, and daughter Abbey who will be a freshman at Mount Ida College in the fall.
