Men's Soccer clawed by Falcons

PAXTON, Mass:  The Anna Maria Men's Soccer lost 2-1 to Albertus Magnus College in conference play this afternoon on AMCAT Field.  

 

Albertus Magnus (4-4-4, 3-1-4 GNAC), Anna Maria College (2-10-1, 0-7-1 GNAC)

 

First Half:

 

AMCATS would get on the scoreboard in the 25th minute of the game when Connor Francis (Colchester, Conn.) would take a free kick near the corner that would get headed in by Ryan Todesco (Southwick, Mass.) for his second goal of the season. Defense would be solid the entire half shutting out the Falcons and taking a 1-0 lead into the half. 

 

Second Half

 

Tyler Saad would get things going for the Falcons when he kicked the ball 50 yards to Emmanuel Yehobah, he would then put it in off a bounce in the 55th minute to tie the game at one. In the 73rd minute of the game Albert Afful would get his shot saved from Donahue, however Addoul Aremu would be there to kick in the rebound.
