PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Baseball team dropped a nine inning game to Elms College this evening 12-4 in non-conference action.
Records: Elms 7-18, AMC 12-22.
The Blazers came out of the gate hot with nine runs in the first four innings. Those runs were split between four individuals who both put up two RBI's each, starting with Alex Hoss who also had three hits on the day out of his four at bats. Josh Berthiaume was right behind him going 2-for-4 with another two runs scored. Thomas Slane had the game high in hits with four on the day with an RBI and three runs scored.
Kosta Drosidis (Holden, Mass.) led the AMCATS once again with a 3-for-5 line with his seventh homerun on the season along with another three runs batted in putting him at thirty-two on the season. Adam Twitchell (Shrewsbury, Mass.) tallied three hits as well putting him at 3-for-4 on the day.
Austin Roy got the win after pitching five innings with nine hits allowed and three earned runs.
Nick Genatossio (Sutton, Mass.) got the loss after three innings with seven hits and six earned runs allowed.
The AMCATS will be back on the field this Friday for their senior day against conference opponent Rivier University, first pitch will be at 12 PM.
