Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Emmanuel in GNAC Semifinals

- BOSTON, MASS: The Anna Maria women's lacrosse team fell to Emmanuel College this evening in the GNAC Semifinals by a score of 20-1.

 THE BASICS:

- Date: 4/28/2021

- Score: Emmanuel 20, Anna Maria 1

- Records: Emmanuel (8-0), Anna Maria (1-5)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The AMCATS saw the score get lopsided through the first half. The Saints took a commanding lead into the half at 14-1. Junior midfielder Ashley Rufo (Pittsfield, MA) found the back of the net for Anna Maria's only goal of the game.

-  The second half saw Emmanuel score another six goals to get the final of 20-1.

- Anna Maria enters their off-season and will begin preparations for the 2021-2022 season.
