Bio

Wayne McGillicuddy enters his first season with the Anna Maria College football program as the Offensive Line Coach. McGillicuddy was previously an assistant coach at his alma mata Westfield State University for the past 2 seasons. He was the Special Teams Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator and Tight Ends Coach. McGillicuddy began his coaching career with a stint as a quality control coach at Division I Florida Atlantic University in the spring of 2015. 

As a player McGillicuddy was a four-year starter for the Owls and a three time All-Conference selection, earning first-team honors as a center in 2013 and 2014. He was a pre-season All-American entering his senior year.  He earned the prestigious Keating Award from the Western Mass. chapter of the National Football Foundation for overcoming hardships to play collegiate football. He served as a team captain for the Owls, and after his senior season he played in the CDFL All Star game against NCAA FCS and Division II student athletes.  McGillicuddy was a four-time MASCAC All-Academic honoree. He graduated in May 2015 from Westfield State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in movement science with a concentration in physical education.
