O’Hara Earns MASCAC Pitcher of the Week Honors

PAXTON, Mass. - Sean O'Hara has been named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

O'Hara delivered a dominant week on the mound for the AMCATS, appearing in three games while making two starts and one relief appearance, earning two wins and a save. Over 13.2 innings pitched, the sophomore recorded seven strikeouts and posted a 0.66 ERA.

He opened the week by holding MCLA scoreless in a 2-0 victory, tossing six innings while striking out three. O'Hara followed that with a complete game performance in a 4-2 win over Mass. Maritime, striking out three across seven innings while allowing just one earned run on five hits. He also appeared in a 14-13 victory, closing out the game in the 11th inning to earn his first save of the season.

O'Hara has been a key part of the rotation all season for the AMCATS, posting a 3-2 record with a 4.26 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 25.1 innings pitched.
