WOMEN'S LACROSSE STRUGGLES ON THE ROAD AGAINST CADETS
VERMONT– On Saturday April 12th, 2025, the Anna Maria College women's lacrosse team traveled to Vermont, to take on the Cadets of Norwich University for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 15-1.
The Cadets started the game off with 6 unanswered goals. It wouldn't be until late in the second quarter that Olivia Stump would break the AMCATS silence making it a 6-1 game. The Cadets would go on to score three more goals in the second, to increase their lead against the AMCATS. The AMCATS would head to halftime down 9 to 1 to the Cadets. The Cadets would come out in the second half of the game strong dominating play against the AMCATS as it would be all Cadets as they would go on to score six more goals against the AMCATS to silence them with a score of 15 to 1. The Cadets would also not allow the AMCATS to score another goal after their lone goal in the second quarter. The game would end in favor of the Cadets, as the AMCATS would fall to the Cadets in a GNAC matchup.

- Christine Ijawet and Olivia Stump would both have 2 draw controls against the Cadets.
- Grace Holden would lead the AMCATS in ground balls with 3 against the Cadets.

The AMCATS will be back in action on Wednesday April 16th, 2025, where they will travel to New London, Connecticut to take on the Mariners of Mitchell College for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. Opening draw is set for 2:00pm.
