AMCATS FALL TO VIKINGS

Paxton, Mass. — The Anna Maria College Women's lacrosse team battled through a challenging contest against the Salem State Vikings, falling 20-0 in non-conference action.

Despite the final score, the AMCATS showed persistence throughout all four quarters, continuing to generate offensive looks and compete on both ends of the field. Anna Maria recorded 10 shots, Hannah Pratt, and Megan Tegethoff helping create opportunities in the attacking zone.

Defensively, the AMCATS were led by goalkeeper Grace Holden, who made 12 saves while facing a high volume of shots across the full 60 minutes. Alyse Mutti and Kortney Clark contributed on the defensive end with multiple ground balls, while Kelsey Wilson added a caused turnover.

Anna Maria remained active in the midfield, working to maintain possession and transition the ball, showing effort and communication despite the challenging result.

Anna Maria returns to action on Wednesday April 8th as they host the Blazers of Elms College. The game is set for 5:00pm.
