 BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. — The Anna Maria College Women’s lacrosse team dropped a road contest to Massachusetts Maritime, 13-4. After a tough start to the conference matchup, Megan Tegethoff sparked the AMCATS offense, netting a pair of goals, including a free-position finish to get Anna Maria on the board late in the first quarter. She stayed aggressive all game, leading the attack and consistently pressuring the Buccaneers defense.

Facing a high volume of shots, Holden’s effort kept Anna Maria competitive and provided several key stops that energized the defense.

The AMCATS would go on to fall to the lancers 16-2 in a conference matchup. The AMCATS saw a strong offensive effort from Megan Tegethoff, who led the way with two goals on two shots, accounting for all of Anna Maria’s scoring on the day. Tegethoff remained efficient and aggressive, capitalizing on her opportunities to keep the AMCATS on the board.

Paxton, MA - The Anna Maria College women’s lacrosse team earned its first victory of the 2026 season on Saturday afternoon, defeating Purchase College by a final score of 11–5. The AMCATS came out strong offensively, scoring four goals in the opening quarter to take early control of the contest. Kelsey Wilson opened the scoring for the AMCATS at the 14:02 mark off an assist from Mackenzie Fitch, before Kortney Clark added an unassisted goal to extend the lead. Wilson struck again later in the quarter, once again assisted by Fitch, giving the AMCATS a 3–0 advantage. Purchase responded with two goals late in the period, but Fitch capped the first-quarter scoring with a free-position goal to give the AMCATS a 4–2 lead after one.
