Paxton, MA – The Anna Maria men's lacrosse team faced off against Eastern Connecticut State University in a non-conference matchup, falling 21-1.
Miles Cormier led the AMCATS offensively, netting the team's lone goal while firing a team-high five shots and staying aggressive throughout the contest. Kyle Pickering added an assist as Anna Maria continued to search for scoring opportunities.
In the midfield, Nicholas Hussa turned in a solid performance, controlling possession at key moments and leading the team with four ground balls.
Defensively, goalkeeper Tyler Davidson anchored the AMCATS, playing all 60 minutes and recording 11 saves while facing constant pressure. His effort in net highlighted the team's resilience from start to finish.
Up next, the AMCATS travel to Waterville, Maine to take on Thomas College in a conference matchup. Opening draw is set for 1:00 PM.
