Men’s Lacrosse Toppled by Thomas

WATERVILLE, Maine - Anna Maria College was defeated by Thomas College, 20-4, in a collegiate men's lacrosse game on Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, the AMCATS fall to 1-12 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

Anna Maria faced an early deficit before getting on the board when Nicholas Hussa capitalized on a man-up opportunity with an unassisted goal in the second quarter.

Hussa added two more unassisted goals, scoring late in the third quarter and again to open the fourth, to complete the hat trick. Eric Farrell added the fourth Anna Maria goal of the afternoon with an unassisted tally.

Tyler Davidson played the full game in goal for the AMCATS, making 14 saves.

Anna Maria returns to action on Saturday, April 18, when it hosts SUNY Cobleskill at 12:00 p.m.
