Women’s Soccer Falls to Trinity

HARTFORD, CT - Anna Maria College was defeated 7-0 by Trinity College in a non-conference collegiate women's soccer game on Wednesday evening at Trinity Soccer Field.

With the loss, the AMCATS fall to an overall record of 0-3 on the season.

Brooke Austin started in goal for Anna Maria and played the entire first half, making seven saves in 45 minutes. Kortney Clark took over in the second half, making 1 save to bring the team's save total to eight throughout the game.

Trinity took control of the game early, scoring first in the eighth minute of play. From there, the home team scored consistently throughout the game, outshooting the AMCATS by a margin of 28.

Anna Maria opens Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference play in a home match against Bridgewater State on Saturday, September 6th, beginning at noon at Caparso Field.
