PAXTON, MA- On Saturday October 11, 2025, the Anna Maria College women's soccer team would host the Rams of Framingham State for a MASCAC conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 2-0.
The AMCATS would come out strong offensively, within minutes getting some quick shots on net but the Rams goalie would keep the AMCATs off the board. It would be minutes later that the Rams would get the first goal of the game, and the lead over the AMCATS 1-0 but there was still plenty of time left to play in the game. It would be the Rams to continue the offensive pressure against the AMCATS getting multiple opportunities but being denied by AMCAT goalkeeper Brooke Austin. Both teams would exchange opportunities in the offensive zone throughout the first half. It would be the Rams goalkeeper to keep the AMCATS off the board in the first half, and the AMCATS goalkeeper to limit the Rams to just one goal in the first half. It would be the Rams that would come out fast in the second half scoring about three minutes into the second half, to now take the lead over the AMCATS 2 to 0. It would then be the AMCATS to find the offensive pressure, but it would be the Rams goalie to keep the AMCATS off the scoreboard. It would be back and forth action between both teams and the Rams would continue to pressure the AMCATS, but it would be Brooke Austin to deny the Rams opportunities. The second half would start to wind down and the AMCATS would continue to have to play defense, having some offensive pressure, but the second half would conclude and the AMCATS would fall to the Rams 2 to 0.
