PAXTON, MA – On Saturday afternoon, the Anna Maria College women's soccer team concluded their 2025 season with a 2–0 loss to Worcester State University at Caparso Field in Paxton, MA.
Worcester State struck twice in the opening ten minutes, taking advantage of early pressure to build a 2–0 lead. From that point forward, the AMCATS regrouped and played a composed defensive game, keeping their opponents off the scoresheet for the remainder of the contest.
Goalkeeper Kortney Clark stood out once again, recording 17 saves to keep Anna Maria within reach. The backline, led by Mya Hebert, Sydney Cohen, and Hannah Pratt, stayed strong under pressure and helped limit dangerous chances in the second half.
On the attacking end, Olivia Vale da Serra and Madison McNamara worked tirelessly to spark the offense, creating forward movement and forcing Worcester State's defense to stay alert. Although the AMCATS were held to a single shot on target, their energy was persistence all game.
