DUDLEY, MA - On Wednesday September 11, 2025 the Anna Maria College Field Hockey team traveled to Dudley, MA to take on the Bison of Nichols College for a non-conference matchup. The AMCATS would lose the game 5 to 0.
The AMCATS opened the game with a solid defensive effort to keep the scoreboard even 0 to 0 in the first quarter. The momentum would completely shift in the second quarter as the Bison would take control, outshooting the AMCATS 14-3 and capitalizing with three unanswered goals to take a 3-0 lead into halftime.
Despite continued efforts from the AMCATS, offensively the Bison would continue the strong offensive momentum putting up two more goals in the third quarter. Unable to score the AMCATS would ultimately fall to the Bison.
COMING UP:
The AMCATS will be back in action on Tuesday September 16th, 2025, where they will travel to Salem, MA to take on the Vikings of Salem State for a MASCAC conference game. This will mark the AMCATS first conference game of the season. The game is set to start at 4:00pm.
