FITCHBURG, MA – On Saturday October 25th, 2025 the Anna Maria College Field Hockey team traveled to Fitchburg, MA to take on the Falcons of Fitchburg State for a MASCAC Conference matchup. The AMCATS would lose the game 5 to 0.
The Falcons would come out in the first quarter quick scoring three goals on the AMCATS to take the lead over the AMCATS 3-0 heading into the second quarter. The AMCATS would come out stronger on defense in the second quarter and would be able to hold the Falcons to only one goal in the second quarter. As the clock would come to an end in the second quarter the Falcons would have a 4-0 lead over the AMCATS.
Despite strong and continued efforts defensively for the AMCATS the Falcons would continue the strong offensive momentum putting up one more goal in the fourth quarter, and keeping the AMCATS off the score board, the AMCATS would ultimately fall to the Falcons 5-0.
COMING UP:
The AMCATS will be back in action on Tuesday October 28th, 2025, where they will take on the Lancers of Worcester State for a MASCAC conference matchup game. The game is set to start at 6:00pm.
