Women’s Volleyball Falls 3–0 to Falcons in Conference Matchup

PAXTON, MA- On Friday October 24^th, 2025, the Anna Maria College women's volleyball team hosted the Falcons of Fitchburg State University for a MASCAC Conference Matchup. The AMCATS would lose 3-0. 

The Falcons would come out strong in the first set against the AMCATS, and the AMCATS would quickly find themselves falling behind to the Falcons. The Falcons would defeat the AMCATS in the first set 25 to 9. It would not take long before the Falcons would take control against the AMCATS beating them in the second set 25 to 12. The AMCATS would look to come out strong in the third set to keep the match and game going. The AMCATS would give their all-in set three, going point for point, but it would be the Falcons of Fitchburg State that would come up on top against the AMCATS winning set three 25 to 23. This would prove to be the strongest offensive set of the night in the match for the AMCATS but ultimately, they would still fall short to the Falcons of Fitchburg State. The match would ultimately end with the AMCATS losing three straight sets to the Falcons. 

COMING UP:

The AMCATS will be back in action on Sunday October 26, 2025, where they head to Longmeadow, MA to take on the Wildcats of Bay Path University. The match is set to start at 6:00pm.
