Men's Basketball Bested by Lasell

NEWTON, MA - Anna Maria College men's basketball fell on the road Tuesday night, dropping an 89-73 decision to Lasell University in a non-conference matchup at the Athletic Center.

Despite the loss, the AMCATS saw several strong individual efforts. Lucas Miglionico led the way with 18 points, shooting 7-of-15 from the field while adding three rebounds and three assists. Yuki Efosa followed with 11 points and four rebounds, and Malakhi Knight chipped in four points, three assists, and three steals.

12 different AMCATS scored throughout the contest, with 30 coming from the bench. Patrick Freeman provided eight points off the bench, knocking down 6-of-7 at the free-throw line. Jason Canady added six points and four rebounds, while Joe Ingegneri contributed five points and three boards.

Anna Maria shot 43% from the field as a team and collected 35 rebounds, including 15 on the offensive end, which turned into 10 second-chance points for the AMCATS.

The AMCATS return to action on Saturday, November 22nd, for a road game against Dean College; tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
