Nolan Ring Named Men’s Hockey Player of the Week
PAXTON, MA - Sophomore forward Nolan Ring delivered a breakout week for the AMCATS, driving the offense in back-to-back dominant wins to earn Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Ring opened the week with a one-goal, one-assist performance in Thursday's 5-1 victory over Western Connecticut. He followed it up with an identical stat line in Saturday's 5-2 win over MASCAC rival Salem State.
His four-point weekend not only powered the AMCATS to a 2-0 stretch but also vaulted him to the top of the team leaderboard, now sitting first on the roster with three goals and two assists for a team-high five points on the season.
Now with a 3-2 overall and a perfect 1-0 conference record, Ring and the AMCATS return to action on Thursday, November 20, when they travel to MCLA for a 6 p.m. puck drop.
