Men’s Ice Hockey Posts 6–1 MASCAC Win Over Framingham State

PAXTON, Mass. – The Anna Maria College men's ice hockey team earned a 6–1 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference victory over Framingham State University on Wednesday evening.

With the win, the AMCATS improve to 11–5–2 overall and 5–1–1 in conference play.

Anna Maria wasted little time getting on the board, opening the scoring midway through the first period. Brady Harroun struck at the 9:45 mark, assisted by Lucas De La Salle and Braeden McKinnon. The AMCATS added two more goals in the period, as Owen Barrow scored at 14:57 with help from Tobias Omholt before De La Salle found the back of the net just 15 seconds later, assisted by McKinnon.

Framingham State responded late in the first period to cut the deficit to 3–1, but Anna Maria regained control early in the second. Liam Wells restored the three-goal cushion at 8:46 with an unassisted goal, making it 4–1.

The AMCATS continued to add on in the third period, opening the scoring just 27 seconds in on the power play. Max Wennenberg converted with assists from Wells and Pearce Baker. Baker capped the night with a goal of his own at 2:28, assisted by Barrow.

Barrow finished with a goal and an assist, while Harroun, De La Salle, Wells, Wennenberg, and Baker also scored for the AMCATS. McKinnon recorded multiple assists in the win.

Anna Maria returns to action on Saturday, January 31, traveling to Salem State University in a MASCAC matchup. Opening puck drop is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. EST.
