MEN'S HOCKEY SINKS TRAILBLAZERS 4-1 ON THE ROAD
NORTH ADAMS, MA. – On Thursday November 20, 2025 the Anna Maria College men's ice hockey team would travel to North Adams, MA to take on the Trailblazers of MCLA. The AMCATS would win the game 4 to 1.
The AMCATS wasted no time getting on the board, scoring just two minutes into the game. Adam Redding moved the puck across to Dylan McElhinny, who set up Nick LeVasseur for the opening goal, giving the AMCATS an early 1–0 lead. The period continued with steady back-and-forth action as both teams generated quality chances in the offensive zone. With about four minutes remaining in the first period the Trailblazers capitalized on an opportunity to tie the game 1–1. Neither team could break the tie before the horn, sending the game into the second period knotted at one goal apiece.
The AMCATS opened the second period with strong momentum, generating multiple chances and controlling play against the Trailblazers. Their pressure paid off when Hayden Rynard passed it over to Nolan Ring, who then set up Liam Wells for a well-executed finish that restored the AMCATS lead 2–1. The teams traded opportunities as the period went on, but with under two minutes remaining, the AMCATS would head to the powerplay. They capitalized once again with Hayden Rynard sent it over to Braeden McKinnon, who buried the puck to extend the AMCATS lead to 3–1 heading into the final period.
The AMCATS carried their momentum into the third period and quickly added to their lead. The powerplay opportunities would keep coming as the AMCATS would head to the powerplay once again and it would be a pass sent over from Nolan Ring to Liam Wells, who would then move the puck across to, Braeden McKinnon who would put it home for the AMCATS, pushing the score to 4–1. AMCATS Goaltender Matthew Hennessey would remain strong for the AMCATS throughout the game, shutting down the Trailblazers and allowing no goals in the second or third period.

The AMCATS will be back in action on Saturday November 22ns, 2025, where they will travel to Nashua NH to take on the Raiders of Rivier University for a MASCAC conference game. The puck drop is set to start at 7:00pm
