Ring Named Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week

PAXTON, Mass. - Nolan Ring has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Ring played a pivotal role in the AMCATS' semifinal victory, scoring two goals, including the overtime game-winning goal, in a 3-2 win over MCLA. The result secured Anna Maria College its first appearance in the MASCAC Men's Ice Hockey Championship game during the program's second season in the conference.

The sophomore forward is tied for third on the team with eight goals this season and has added 10 assists for 18 total points.

Ring and the AMCATS will face Westfield State in the MASCAC Championship game on Saturday, March 7, at Horgan Skating Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:40 p.m.
