Makenna Lovelette, Softball

Sophomore Makenna Lovelette opened the season strong for the AMCATS during their Florida trip, earning a pair of shutout victories. Lovelette posted a 2.74 ERA with seven strikeouts over 23 innings pitched. She went the distance in an 8-0 win over Concordia Chicago, surrendering only four hits while striking out one. Lovelette also tossed a complete-game shutout in a 1-0 victory over Dubuque, recording four strikeouts in the win.
