42 Ice Hockey Players Earn Spot on MASCAC All-Academic Team
PAXTON, MA - On Thursday, July 10th, the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference announced that 42 Anna Maria College ice hockey players earned a place on the Winter/Spring 2025 MASCAC All-Academic Team.
The 26 men's players and 16 women's players joined a list of 1,062 total athletes to earn a spot on the team, which awards student-athletes for maintaining a grade point average of 3.20 or above during the Winter and Spring 2025 athletic season.
The AMCATS' success in the classroom was paralleled on the ice as the men's team boasted a 14-4 conference record, which culminated in the program's first MASCAC semifinal appearance. The women's team also saw on-ice success, achieving 10 overall wins for the first time in program history and a MASCAC semifinal appearance of their own.
Anna Maria recently joined the MASCAC, becoming the ninth core member of the conference in 2025.
