Tyler DiPalma Joins Athletic Training Staff

PAXTON, MA - Tyler DiPalma has been named Assistant Athletic Trainer at Anna Maria College. He will work directly with Head Athletic Trainer John Shliapa to provide medical care to student-athletes, supervise athletic practices and competitions, and ensure student-athlete medical clearance, among other duties.
 
DiPalma comes to Anna Maria after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a remarkable 3.5 grade point average. Tyler continued his educational career at Lasell University, earning a Master of Science in Athletic Training with a stunning 3.6 grade point average in May of 2025. While studying as an undergraduate at UMass Amherst from 2022 to 2023, he also worked with the UMass Amherst Athletic Training Staff and as an aide for the Bay State Physical Therapy Company.
 
DiPalma attended Lasell University from 2024 to 2025, earning his Master's Degree while working alongside the Stonehill College and Harvard University Athletic Training Departments. He is also certified in ATC, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, as well as Mental Health for First Aid.
 
DiPalma is enthusiastic to begin his professional career as an AMCAT, stating, "I'm looking forward to starting my career off strong here at Anna Maria. I'm excited to meet everyone and do the best that I can. I'm also happy to have other great athletic trainers beside me to learn from as I start my journey. Go AMCATS!"
